Our 7 principles

1. Creating highly skilled hands
and vital minds

What if things were made for the purpose of beauty, connection and elevation? In harmony with the world and the resources around us. To make art and forms alongside living in balance with the natural world. To cultivate vital minds from the integration of a diverse range of practices.

2. Cultural Programming

Working with the surrounding villages. Linking with festivals and celebrations. Creating a community of celebration and culture. A series of experiences rooted in elemental pastoral rhythms - village life, land, craft and harvests

3. Nourished land
Nourished bodies

To nourish the land is to nourish the soul and human vitality. Tending to The People’s Forest will regenerate the soil: increasing the water that the soil holds, its fire resistance, the biodiversity and through this connection, open a huge opportunity for a deep sense of wellness. The food served through all the experiences will be from the land and local organic small farm partnerships.
Practices of transformation through teachings in Ecological poetics will weave together all the elemental dances of Air, Water, Soil, Fire, Stars

4. Hosting in spaces that heal

We will create a series of elemental guest houses that look to the natural order and geometry of nature to inform the design. Soulful spaces built from elemental local materials and utilising local skills. In their simplicity and material essence, these spaces invite stillness and healing.
With this approach we will create a learning house, resting house and dreaming houses for visitors and journeys to expand into creativity and healing. Experiences will include personalised healing packages residencies and retreats

5. Local exchange

To celebrate and develop the existing crafts of the local area. To work on public space projects that repair ancient pilgrimage routes and offer something back to the villages. To elevate the work of the hand.

6. Circular thinking

The land, spaces, experiences and relationships we create will form a living example of whats possible if we work in circular systems.
Learnings and collections from these experiences will be offered outwards as exhibitions, digital exchanges and international offerings

7. Awakening the bridge to our nature

The experience of meeting this place will cultivate our connection to our whole selves
